The Submerged Astrid
The Astrid tall ship, its hull mostly submerged while stranded in underwater rocks near Oysterhaven, Co.Cork. This photo was taken at night and The Old Head of Kinsale can be seen in the horizon.
The Astrid ran aground on July 24th 2013. Thankfully all aboard were rescued.
This image is printed by Michael on a high quality satin fine art paper as standard using archival inks. This gives a warm, rich, artist quality product which when properly cared for should last for over 100 years. The watermark/logo will not be included on your purchased print.
All prints are sold unframed and un-mounted. Prints are cut to include a white border which allows them to be inserted into a wide variety of mounts and frames.
Each purchase is carefully packaged (usually placed in a ridged and padded envelope or flat box) and sent via An Post registered post.
Contact Michael directly to request a custom size of this image, a mounted option, or even to commission your own bespoke photograph of this or a similar location.
